Please note that Evonik will not accept any unsolicited application documents sent by staffing firms. Evonik works in conjunction with preferred service providers and will not pay any fee to staffing firms in the absence of an appropriate framework agreement. Should Evonik receive a candidate profile from a staffing firm with which it has no framework agreement, and should this candidate subsequently be considered in the recruitment process or offered employment, no claims from the staffing firm will be entertained in this regard.

Which documents are needed?
CV, cover letter, diplomas and employment references after your high school diploma are absolutely necessary. You have the possibility of uploading several attachments apart from your CV. You can also combine several diplomas in one document. In this way you can provide us with more information that proves your qualifications. Your files should not exceed 20 MB. You can upload an unlimited number of files. Each file must not exceed 5 MB.
To whom should I address my application?
Every job posting names a contact person. You can address your cover letter to this contact person.
Can I send the application by mail?
In principle, we ask you to enter your application in digital form in our online application tool.
Can I apply for several jobs at a time?
Yes. Please make sure to upload different cover letters for each job.
When do I get a response for my application?
After careful review of your application files, you receive a feedback as soon as possible telling you whether your profile fits our vacancy. If this is the case, we invite you to a job interview. To guarantee a careful and fair evaluation of all applications, the processing and response period can vary. In all cases you receive a feedback. Also, in your interest, we try to act quickly to get your application through the process.
How do I know you received my application?
After a successful application via our online application tool, you receive a confirmation e-mail. Please ensure the receipt of this e-mail by changing your spam-filter configurations.
Can I see the status of my application?
You can see the status of your application in your profile. In addition, you receive from us all information regarding your application by e-mail: Confirmation after successful registration and successful receipt of the application, when we are moving to the job offer stage, interim notifications, rejection or invitation to interviews.
I can no longer find the job posting that I am interested in on the job market. How can this happen?
If you can no longer find the job on the job market, it was filled or there are already a large number of applications and no further applications are being accepted. For this reason it can no longer be found on the job market. For you to be informed about other vacancies, we recommend to create a job alert within your profile. It informs you about suitable positions as soon as they are posted.
Who can view my application?
During the creation of your user account, you can determine the circle of recruiters that is allowed to view your application. You can choose, if only the recruiter for this job that you apply to can view your files, or if all recruiters in Germany and worldwide can have access to it. The recruiter can then suggest other possibly suitable jobs. If this is the case, you will, of course, be informed about this.
Why do I have to submit a data protection statement?
Data protection is a central concern of Evonik. You can find all relevant information regarding this here
Can I change my uploaded application files during the application process?
In principle, we differentiate in our recruiting software between a profile and an application. Your personal information, which you may need in case of a later application to a vacancy, is stored in your profile. You can constantly keep your profile up-to-date. An application for an open position is not able to be changed once submitted. If you would like to change something, please contact the relevant contact person of the job posting.
How does the job alert work?
The job alert filters all new open positions according to your specifications and informs you by e-mail. This will allow you to know about jobs of interest to you immediately.
I have forgotten my access data / password.
On the login page, please click on “Forgot your password?” Please enter your e-mail address that you have used to sign up. Immediately after you fill in the input mask, you will receive an e-mail with an activation link.
