The rubber compound of the “green” tire from Evonik, for example, reduces rolling resistance and therefore fuel consumption—an energy-efficient and eco-friendly solution that's also easy on the purse strings.

When car drivers see red, Evonik again takes the credit. In Europe, the taillights of every other car consist of polymethylmethacryat (PMMA) molding compounds.

PLEXALLOY® molding compounds are successfully employed for non-transparent add-on automotive body parts. In these, they offer convincing properties such as high surface gloss, excellent colorfastness and outstanding weather resistance. They can also be economically processed to provide colored auto body parts with no need for subsequent painting or coating.
