Evonik manages its operations in the North America Region from Parsippany, New Jersey, just a stone’s throw from New York City. For our Chemicals Business Area this is something of a domestic market: All of its major businesses have long been firmly established in North America.

These include, for example, hydrogen peroxide, silicas, carbon blacks (industrial blacks), interfacial chemistry, superabsorbents, feed additives, isophorone, and high-performance polymers. Our first production facilities in North America were established in the early 1970s.

Parsippany is a purely administrative site and is also the basis for our marketing activities in North America.
