Locations in North America

North America – comprising the USA, Canada and Mexico – is one of the „home bases“for our Chemicals Business Area and all major activities have been firmly established in this region for many years. Examples include hydrogen peroxide, silicias, carbon blacks, interfacial chemistry, superabsorbents, feed additives, isophorone and high-performance polymers.

We have around 3,700 employees in this region, roughly 3,500 of whom work in the USA. Our North American subsidiary Evonik Degussa Corporation is headquartered in Parsippany (New Jersey) and Mobile (Alabama) is Evonik’s largest site in North America with around 700 employees.

The Energy Business Area has had a presence in the USA since 1992. Its engineering services offer a broad range of specialized solutions to the large market of fossil-fuel power plants in the USA.Visit Evonik in North America
