The power plants between the Rhine and Ruhr rivers and in the Saarland have long been Germany's most important power generation sites. We operate these power plants either independently or as reliable partners jointly with other power producers.
Making power plants cleaner
Our coal-fired power plants are among the most advanced in Europe. They produce more energy from less coal, thus reducing environmental load. Our power plants generate less carbon dioxide per unit of power produced than any others in the world.

Iskenderun (Turkey), Paipa (Colombia), and Mindanao (Philippines) are three regions in which we operate power plants benefiting people and industry. In South America and Asia, we do business in developing countries, offering customized power plants for every requirement.
