The Power Minerals Business Line Specializes in Power Plant Waste Management and Construction Materials

Evonik Power Minerals GmbH, a wholly owned subsidiary of Evonik Steag GmbH, develops customized disposal and marketing concepts for power plants and industrial plants. It also supplies the construction materials industry with building materials from power plants.

In Germany and its neighboring countries, we sell about 4.2 million metric tons of quality building materials per year. Our fly ash drying facility, the only one of its kind in Germany, dries about 40,000 metric tons of fly ash annually.

We also supply power plants with lime products for use in flue gas cleaning and with alternative fuels.
