Real Estate Business Area

The Real Estate Business Area manages a portfolio of around 60,000 company-owned housing units concentrated in the federal state of North Rhine-Westphalia. It also has a 50 percent stake in THS, which owns more than 75,000 residential units.


Evonik Industries is thus one of the leading private-sector housing companies in Germany. Business focuses on letting housing to private households, which essentially generates regular and stable cash flows. The Real Estate Business Area and Real Estate segment are identical.
