Corporate responsibility at Evonik

The department "Corporate Responsibility" takes up the expectations of internal and external stakeholders with regard to the contributions of Evonik to sustainable development of society. 

In daily activities of the employees credibility and reliability are essential principles.

Therefore we joined the Global Compact (GC) in 2009 and we gave an undertaking that we will advocate the 10 principles of the GC.
Evonik is an active member of the World Business Council for Sustainable Development (WBCSD) and of econsense, the German forum for sustainable business. 

Evonik is co-signatory of the Responsible Care Global Charter of the International Council of Chemical Associations.
