Changes in the Executive Board
Evonik Chairman Klaus Engel is to hand over his post to his designated successor, Christian Kullmann, who is currently responsible for strategy.
Kullmann was appointed deputy chairman back in May 2016, and is due to take over the post with effect from the close of the Shareholders’ Meeting on May 23.
In September, Harald Schwager will move from BASF to Evonik as the new deputy chairman of the Executive Board. Ralph Sven Kaufmann, currently responsible for operative business in his role as chief operating officer, is to leave the company in the middle of the year. The Supervisory Board announced the corresponding resolutions at the end of its meeting today.
