Prize Draw Terms and Conditions of Entry

The Terms and Conditions of Entry for the “Autographed Act Like A Leader Armbands” prize draw on the Evonik LinkedIn Page and the Instagram Page.

The prize draw is in no way connected to LinkedIn or Instagram and is not endorsed, sponsored or organized in any way by LinkedIn or Instagram. The organizer has sole responsibility and is the sole point of contact. The organizer is Evonik Industries AG.

The prize draw runs from November 3, 2022 until 11.59 pm (CET) on November 8, 2022.

Prize: 2 x 5 Act Like A Leader armbands autographed by Marco Reus (5 x via LinkedIn, 5 x via Instagram). A total of 10 winners will be selected from all entries under the respective prize draw posts on LinkedIn and Instagram.  Each winner will receive one autographed Act Like A Leader armband.

There can be no full or partial payment of the cash value of the prize.

Entry: The prize draw is entered by posting a comment under the relevant prize draw post on the Evonik LinkedIn page and by posting a photo on the own Instagram page. 

For LinkedIn participants must satisfy the following entry requirement for the draw: “Tell us in the comments who you think is a true leader and why.
Next, use the hashtags #ActLikeALeader and #BVB and tag @Evonik, and your name’s in the hat.
Best of luck!”
For Instagram the following entry requirement must be satisfied: Post a photo of yourself with the hashtags #ActLikeALeader, #Evonik and #BVB and tag @evonikofficical and tell us what True Leadership means to you. You’ll be entered into a draw with a chance to win.
Best of luck!”

Tagging another user is not a condition of participation.

Text, comments or photos that violate the rules of LinkedIn/Instagram, German law, our netiquette and/or copyright will not be considered. Consequently, the respective entrant will be ineligible to win.

Eligibility: The prize draw is open to anyone aged 18 or over with their own LinkedIn/Instagram account. Employees, freelancers and authorized representatives of Evonik Industries AG and its subsidiaries, as well as their family members and members of their households, are not eligible to enter the draw.

Winners – selection and notification: After the deadline for entries has passed, the winners will be drawn from all entrants who satisfied the entry requirements. Winners will be selected at random.

Notification will be posted directly under the LinkedIn/Instagram post no later than three days after the entry deadline. Within three days of being notified of their win, LinkedIn winners should contact Evonik by e-mail at marketing@evonik.com, including their LinkedIn ID, and Instagram winners should direct message @evonikoffical using the Instagram Messenger feature, to provide Evonik with their full name, address, phone number and e-mail address. Contact must be made via the same LinkedIn/Instagram account that was used to enter the draw. If contact is not made within this period, the claim to the prize will be forfeited.

Data protection: The LinkedIn/Instagram names of all entrants will be collected and stored for the purpose of determining the winners. All data will be deleted no later than 30 days after the prize draw has ended. No data will be shared with third parties. Entrants have statutory information, modification and withdrawal rights.

The decisions of Evonik Industries AG are final. No legal recourse shall be possible in any case. No response will be provided to any queries in this regard. Evonik Industries AG reserves the right to fully or partially suspend the prize draw should difficulties arise that threaten the integrity of the draw and/or the integrity of Evonik Industries AG. Evonik Industries AG further reserves the right to unilaterally amend these Terms and Conditions of Entry without prior notice. Any liability for damages on the part of Evonik Industries AG and its executive bodies, employees and vicarious agents arising from or in connection with the prize draw, irrespective of the legal grounds, shall be limited – to the extent permitted by law – to cases of wilful intent or gross negligence. Should individual provisions be invalid, this shall not affect the validity of the remaining provisions.
