Evonik raises prices for hydrogen peroxide in Europe
Evonik's Industrial Chemicals Business Unit announces a price increase of 15% in Europe for all grades of hydrogen peroxide (H2O2). The price increase applies as of 1st of April 2011. The cost of major raw materials, energy and logistics have increased substantially in previous months making it necessary for Evonik to pass on these increased costs.

The Group offers various industries a broad range of specific bleaching agent applications. Major customers include the paper and textile industries.
