TEGO® Rad 2010 and 2011: Radiation-curable and cost efficient – new high performance multipurpose additives from Tego

With TEGO® Rad 2010 and 2011, Evonik Tego Chemie GmbH enters a new dimension in cross-linkable, multifunctional additives for radiation-curing coatings and printing inks.

The products are a first within the TEGO® Rad product range since an innovative new process enables highly functional organo-modified silicone acrylates to be manufactured cost-efficiently.

The 5 - 6 acrylate groups/molecule render TEGO® Rad 2010 and 2011 easily cross-linkable thus significantly reducing migration tendency compared to that of non-cross-linkable products.

In radical-curing formulations, these 100 % active matter products improve properties such as substrate wetting and flow. The products are highly compatible and enable release and slip characteristics to be adjusted as required; of course, without stabilizing foam.
