Price Increase for PLEXIGLAS®, PLEXALLOY® and PLEXIMID® Molding Compounds

Evonik Röhm GmbH is increasing its prices for PMMA molding compounds it markets under the trademarks PLEXIGLAS®, PLEXALLOY® and PLEXIMID® effective May 1, 2010. As far as permissible under existing agreements, the price of all products will be raised by EUR 0.18 per kilogram.

This price increase was due to the sharp rise in feedstock costs.


The Performance Polymers Business Unit of Evonik Industries is a worldwide manufacturer of PMMA products sold under the PLEXIGLAS® trademark on the European, Asian, African and Australian continents and under the trademark ACRYLITE® in the Americas.
