1The Scope 2 emissions were calculated in the past using the location-based method, which includes regional emission factors. For the majority of our sites around the world, from 2015 this method is supplemented by the market-based method, which takes account of the specific emissions of individual suppliers and market participants. That enhances accuracy and also enables us to meet the new requirements of the GHG protocol. To ensure comparability, for 2015 the CO2 contribution to Scope 2 emissions has been calculated and reported using both methods.
