Evonik Peroxide Netherlands BV is located near the chemical park Delfzijl, where it has its own plant for the production of hydrogen. Through ambitious goals, the company aims to make production completely sustainable. The hydrogen peroxide produced is mainly used as a bleaching agent for textile and paper pulp fibers, as a raw material for other specific chemical processes, and as an oxidizing agent for wastewater treatment and soil remediation.
