Price Increase for Pigment Carbon Blacks

The Business Unit Inorganic Materials of Evonik Industries is announcing a price increase of 10 percent for its pigment carbon blacks. The price increase will be effective for all deliveries as of May 15, 2008.

The price increase is the result of soaring costs for raw materials, energy, and logistics. For this reason, Evonik Industries has no choice but to pass on some of these costs to its customers.
