Introduction to Adrian Blum
Is Adrian exactly the right contact person for you? In our short questionnaire, he briefly introduces himself:
MY CAREER PATH IN A NUTSHELL: Working in the chemical industry since 1991 At Evonik since 2008 Project manager for chemical recycling of polyethylene terephthalates since 2020
MY TASK IN THE CIRCULAR PLASTICS TEAM AT EVONIK IS: Promoting solutions for the chemical recycling of polyester and supporting innovation for secondary raw material use.
MY TIP ON WHERE YOU COULD DO WITHOUT PLASTIC IN YOUR DAY-TO-DAY LIFE: Water bottles in countries with drinking water quality from the water supply network.
I’M PUZZLING OVER THE FOLLOWING CHALLENGE AT THE MOMENT: Making high-quality recycling from plastic waste affordable – to match our needs and for the sake of our environment: Circularity cannot become a luxury at the expense of others.
MY FAVORITE PLASTIC OBJECT IS: First it was eyeglasses with plastic lenses, then my suitcase, and now it’s historic: a combination of plastic with metal and wood on an old radio.
IF I WERE A PLASTIC PRODUCT, I WOULD PROBABLY BE: Crystal-clear tape: not necessarily visible, but quality unites us. |
