Our Sustainability Values & Principles at Evonik

What brings us all together is making life better for people today and tomorrow. To achieve tangible results, we at Evonik prioritized and translated them into overarching sustainability targets. Two of these global strategic targets are directly related to our Procurement activities.

1. We aim to cover 100% of our raw material suppliers with an annual procurement spend > 100 kEUR with a TfS Assessment by 2025.
2. Evonik is aiming for climate neutrality in 2050 and is committing to the Science Based Target initiative (SBTi). Our reduction targets are therefore in line with the Paris Climate Agreement. For scope 1 and 2 emissions we aim for a 25% emissions reduction in 2030 compared with 2021.
