Next Generation Solutions

With this brochure, we would like to introduce you to selected products and solutions that are characterized by a distinct sustainability profile: Evonik's Next Generation Solutions (NGS). We pay particular attention to the contribution of the NGS to the four Sustainability Focus Areas (SFA), which bundle our contributions to sustainable transformation and describe their sustainability benefits ("handprint").

First, we will introduce Evonik's SFA and Portfolio Sustainability Assessment (PSA) methodology, and then explain the handprint evaluation of some NGS. These assessments serve as evidence of a positive PSA score and allow for a better understanding of how an NGS contributes to the particular SFA.
